NexGen Digital, an electronic component distributor, was using two nonintegrated systems to handle its sales and order processing needs. The outdated financial management system and the low-end contact management system lacked business functionality such as sales and accounting integration. In addition, the company used error-prone paper methods for many processes. With the existing situation, NexGen anticipated having to increase its staff of 22 by 50 percent to handle growth projections.

With the help of Dynamic Methods, NexGen used Microsoft Business Solutions to implement an integrated customer relationship management (Microsoft CRM) and accounting solution (Microsoft Great Plains) that gives employees a centralized place to store and access information.
